Trout Fillets Chalkstream


The pink flesh of trout fillets is light and delicate and ideal for a healthy and speedy meal, particularly for the spring and summer months. A great alternative to salmon, this fish can be cooked in a variety of ways including pan-frying, grilling or cooking in baking paper parcels to capture the full flavour. Pre-heat any pan or grill to ensure the trout skin crusts without overcooking the flesh or if cooking in a parcel add herbs, oils or spices to infuse flavour into the fillets. Serve with light and fresh ingredients such as asparagus when in season.
