Dressed Devon Crab


There are few more spectacular food delights than a dressed crab, where all the work has been done so you can enjoy the juicy white and brown meat of this shellfish. Serve on a plate with some good quality mayonnaise, fresh bread and a wedge of lemon for an easy but tempting lunch, maybe garnishing with some parsley for extra elegance. Alternatively, you can remove the meat from the shell and use as a base for a pasta dish, although it is the shell that really supplies the dramatic effect.
