Haddock Fillet


Haddock is a member of the cod family with a mild flavour, firm flesh and moist texture. It is used as an alternative to cod in many recipes although it does have a slightly sweeter taste – which is why it is considered the best white fish for smoking. It is one of the most popular varieties of seafood in the UK and the flesh forms into delicate, mild white flakes when it is cooked. Cook and use in similar recipes to those for cod.
