Raw Shell-On King Prawns


These juicy shell-on raw prawns are perfect pan-fried in their shells to bring out their full sweet flavour and then eaten on their own or as a spectacular addition to another dish. They are great to grill on the barbecue as the shell will keep the meat protected. Alternatively stir fry in a large pan with some oil, butter and garlic for four to five minutes until cooked through, season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped parsley for a simple but highly impressive centre-piece of a main meal.
